On September 17, 2015, H.R. 3546, a bill entitled The Big Cat Public Safety Act was formally introduced in the United States House of Representatives. This bill, issued in previous sessions, has steadily picked up steam and will finally put an end to back yard breeding and exploitation of big cats and their cubs in America!

This bill is all-important and needs to pass this time in order to prevent so much big cat suffering. Private possession leads to big cats living in deplorable conditions, not to mention the public safety issue. But when a cat attacks a human, it is always the cat that pays the ultimate price.

I think a lot of people romanticise about keeping such a beautiful animal, but the reality is that is it, just a dream and we must support them in all ways possible to what is really beneficial for these wonderful creatures, to stop their suffering and humiliation at the hand of man.
